Hyakuten Inamoto
Komyo ReikiDo® Founder
Hyakuten Inamoto Sensei is a Japanese Buddhist monk of the Jōdo-shū (浄土宗) or Pure Land School (sect) and an international Reiki teacher from Kyoto, Japan. He studied Reiki with Sensei Chiyoko Yamaguchi, a student of Sensei Chujiro Hayashi. Hayashi Sensei was a student of Mikao Usui Sensei , the founder of Reiki Ryoho (霊気療法) . After learning from Yamaguchi Sensei and then doing much individual research into the original teachings of Usui Sensei, Hyakuten Sensei created Komyo Reiki Kai in 1998 (at the end of 2016 the name was changed to Komyo ReikiDo ) and began holding classes.
Sensei Inamoto is internationally known as an authority (expert) on traditional Japanese Reiki, he has been an invaluable consultant and translator for many authors — Western Reiki Masters including:
-
”Reiki: Transmission of Light, Volume 1-The History and System of Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho” by Robert N. Fueston
-
“Reiki: A Comprehensive Guide” by Pamela Miles
-
“Reiki’s Birthplace” by Jessica A. Miller
-
“The Reiki Sourcebook” by Bronwen and Frans Stiene.
Sensei Inamoto lives near Mt. Kurama in the ancient city of Kyoto and gratefully guides a great amount of Reiki Practitioners from all over the world to Reiki’s Birthplace. He travels extensively to teach Reiki Ryoho worldwide.
He is fluent in English and is noted for his gentle manner and sense of humor.
